Stressed-out for the better?? NO?

Whatever you do in life doesn't seem right but you knew it was the right thing to do. Is it all that matters? Maybe not, because there's always something that will stand in between your way. When you are supposed to do the things regarding your own future but seemingly so cool about it, people will just tell you off that you are not concerned about your future and take things so easily. It's not that you are not concern at all, you've done the things that you should do but somehow people will still assume it that way judging by the blank and cool look displayed on your face.

Yeah, there are a lot things to do and worry about. Definitely you should be piled-up with some pressure and all. The thing is why stress yourself up over this matter? It's like pushing the panic button whenever some catastrophe occur. If you're panicked, you'll be lost and all the things will go haywire. Nothing else can be done then and you'll be facing your doom instead :ninja:.

I'm just saying that things can be a lot easier and less complicated when you're all cool, not so cool but just try to get a grip of yourself. There is nothing to be stressed-out about. Just do the things that you want to do, it's not like you are not doing anything nor neglecting your own future. Do things at your own pace and effectively.

Industrial Training and got-carried-away-after-that

Recently, I just completed my industrial training at Thong Guan Plastic & Paper Industries a.k.a 888. I think it's best known as 888 than Thong Guan because everyone is more familiar with the brand 888 even myself. Just a glance at it, right away you know what the heck that is. It's a very popular brand, wherever you go...you can just see it; be it at mamak or an old coffee shop.

Trademark logo that is almost impossible not to be recognized

As you all know, 888 makes good kopi-O and tea. Partly it's because of shortage of manpower. Maybe those operators or other employees won't feel much but for us technicians, it's like between life or death. Basically, we have to be an all-rounder..from electrical to electronic and to mechanical as well. Ever since I came to Thong Guan, I've been working out a lot as well.
Never been so clear..

Have you ever had doubts about your plans or dreams that make you think twice whether they are the right decisions or not? Have you ever regretted over something you've done or not done? Makes you feel like turning back time and do the things you think is right but in reality, we knew that nothing can be done and that we can never go back to the past. Reality bites....hell yeah it does!! These are what I've gone through and it took me a lot to realized what i truly want. It happened pretty recently and it could also be the turning point of my life. I actually took a major and a risky decision to do what I should have done earlier in the past. It's not easy but I've never been so clear with my own decisions before. No doubts or whatsoever, I felt so confident just to think of it. By right I should be happy with what I'm doing now but it's not what I wanted. I realized that I was somehow forced into it, due to some pressure and expectations. Ever since I made this decision, I've never been so confident and free from everything. It makes me stronger day by day. I can't really describe how good the feeling is :bowtie:....It's something like the picture below :

The sign of strength and confidence: Picture courtesy of Rafael Nadal after winning a match.

The feeling is just so strong, it's like you can take on anything right now. You will just fight for everything till the end until you succeed. Nothing can bring you down even there's something or someone tries to bring you down, you will stay strong on you feet and keep charging forward. I will strive harder to prove my point, also to show that this is what I really want :philChoi:

p/s: It's been a while since I last updated.

My regular lunch meal....no more~

It's been a while since i last updated. Nothing much to blog about actually, so i decided to blog something about my regular lunch meal (or i should say used to be~). It's been more than 2 years i think, i used to go to this particular place for my lunch. Well, you can say that i'm a loyal customer alright or maybe i just can't find anywhere else to go. Furthermore, the food there is cheap and it's the nearest one to my campus. By the way, my campus' food sucks and more expensive . That place was known as 'SUNFLOWER'. Even the name of the shop itself makes this place so heavenly, it's like you're in a paradise with countless choices of good food. It was owned by a nice middle-aged aunty, who will always put up a smile to all her customers and cooks all the dishes which remind me of home cooked meal.

I've been a regular customer there until she knows what my usual drink is. It's kind of obvious though because i will never change my desired drink which is warm soya bean . Even for the food i take, it's always been potatoes (lots of them ) and some veggies. Oh yeah, and a mountainful of rice with lots of curry and gravy on top of it. Don't believe? Fine, i will show it to you all then...

                                             Now you see it..

                                A closer view

                                  Now you don't..

All in all, my food comes to RM 2.50 only including my soya bean drink. Cheap right? Partly maybe because that aunty knew me well? We always have a short chat each time i go there for my lunch, she's like a godmother to me.

Then a few weeks ago, i went there for my lunch as usual and received a tragic news from that aunty. She said that it would be her last day and that she's closing down her shop already. I was quite in a shocked and asked her why. She said that it's time for her to enjoy her retirement and go for a tour or something. I'm happy for her but at the same time i felt really down for some reason. Not to say i'm being emotional or anything but it's just that i've always had my lunch there and nowhere else to go to. Well, i guess i just have to accept it and go on with my life by finding elsewhere for lunch but one thing's for sure, no other place can be nicer and cheaper than SUNFLOWER. Anyway, i wish you good luck and enjoy in whatever you do aunty , i will never forget you. Well, that aunty did shook my hands and thanked me for my support in the end of the day .

Street Food Attack(1)

I was supposed to look for other electronic shops to purchase the components that were required for my project today. At first, i went searching somewhere along Chulia Street but failed to find any electronic shops there. Mostly hardware shops, glass and plastic shops and etc.. It was rather frustrating though because i was riding my bike in a hot sunny day somemore. My tummy kept cursing, asking to be fed... "FEED ME!!, FEED ME YOU !!" Ignoring all those, i kept searching for the shop. oops, sorry for that~

Then, my friend told me that there are a few electronics shops situated somewhere along Kimberley Street. Without further hesitations, i quickly head straight there. Upon passing the street, i can see there are a few electronic shops there that seemed like a potential place to purchase all the components. After a few minutes of strolling around the street, all of a sudden i came across this particular stall that caught my attention. As i got myself closer to the stall, i saw......

CHAR KOAY KAK!!!!!!!!

I was totally distracted and decided to abort my 'mission' for a while, straight away i placed an order for that mouth-watering looking CHAR KOAY KAK!! ALL FOR RM 1.80 ONLY! Instead of hunting for the shop,i hunted for the food but no regrets though because the CHAR KOAY KAK was simply fantabulous. That should keep my tummy from cursing for a time being . The stall is by itself at the roadside. So, you can either take away or sit by the roadside there and eat like what i did. Actually, it was meant for takeaways only but i can't help myself that time. Just whack only, ignoring those public stares .

After that dining experience, i proceeded with my 'mission' and actually purchased my components from a shop. Mission accomplished with some BONUS (char koay kak). Hehe, nice-ness of the day~

Purchasing components

Went to an electronic shop yesterday to purchase some components for my project. Supposed to buy a UV board and a computer fan. Looked for UV board at first and decided not to buy it from there because it was too expensive. The cheaper ones were running out of stock, left only the expensive ones. As a student and a kiam siap(stingy) fellow, I can only afford the cheaper ones because i'm on a tight budget. Then, went to the computer fan section instead hoping that i can purchase at least an item for that day. Unfortunately, there are so many fans with different sizes from small, medium and large to choose from. Not knowing which one to choose, i took a picture of the medium size fan because i think it was the perfect size for my project for my group leader to see. Without the shop owner noticing it, i quickly take out my camera phone and took a snapshot out of it. Pretty silly, i know~ Below is the picture that has been taken with style and some corny looking pose

After that, i left the shop without purchasing anything and decided to go to other shops instead. Need to hunt for the cheapest price that a shop could offer. Who says shopping is easy huh?

It's been a while

It's been a while since i last updated my blog. From the previous and only entry, i mentioned something about the ordeal of meeting the folks and all. Yup, it's definitely something alright but a good one :bowtie:. I was referring to my girl's folks. I know, it seemed too soon and weird but it didn't feel that way at all. Somehow it felt like my own family, slightly different though because my family is not that lively ( not to say i have anything against my own family, so don't get me wrong :-D ).

Last week, i was in ipoh for the entire week. Well, i got to say i really felt like home alright. So good until i don't feel like leaving at all, wish i could stay even longer but somehow for a much "hak hei" person like me, it's quite impossible and not nice to stay over for too long also as i wouldn't want to trouble others. Ipoh...well u can call it a food paradise but it's more well known as the white coffee paradise. Penang still rules the food anyway :-D. The first thing when you're in ipoh, u should stop by at NAM HEONG FOR THE WHITE COFFEE. The white coffee there is definitely one of it's kind. I would say nothing beats that, not even starbucks nor whatever coffee beans in town can beat Ipoh's white coffee. Not to say i'm exaggerating or anything but it's the fact. Don't believe, you can try it for yourself and you will know that i wasn't just crapping out of nowhere. I was bloated with all sorts of yummy-licious food there. I would also like to show how much i appreciate my dear's mum and sister for such a fantabulous home-cooked meal (Dear, learn from them and you will never go wrong~). Definitely reminds me of my mum's cooking because it's almost similar. Even for a "hak hei" person like me, i ate quite a lot i think. That shows how much i miss home-cooked meal.

I got to say i had a really great time there especially with my dearest around . When that special someone is just right next to you, every single day is just too precious that you always hope to stay that way forever. Having her in my arms all the time...it's simply wonderful. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH SWEETHEART! When the time comes to say goodbye, it's just so hard for me. I might appear cool but i felt the strain in my heart. Anyway, it's not like i won't be seeing my love again..just the matter of time till both of us tie the knot and start a family together.

Speaking of that, i'm going to Ipoh tomorrow and again on tuesday during wesak day. Yes-ness!! (I've been chenyeng-nised by my dear's sister. There goes my virgin "<strike>yes</strike>" word....hehe). I'm so excited right now, i'll be seeing you tomorrow my love and also this coming tuesday.

The beginning of the saga

The beginning alright but not sure where to begin. Might as well introduce myself first, that would be a great start of all.

Official Name: Oo Boon Tatt

Unofficial Name: Louis

Date of birth: 1.7.1985

Hometown: Butterworth, Penang (Food Paradise!)

Status: In a relationship ( Loving her lots!)

Okay, enough of the introduction. Back to business... Seriously can't think of anything right now, thinking of my dearest too much therefore got distracted a little. Just signed up for a new account with tabulas, kind of being persuaded by my dear to do so. Can't help it when you have those "bambi eyes" staring at me. Since I can't think of anything, i might as well blog about what i did the past few days. The Ipoh trip? That is something to blog about..

Yeah, I went to Ipoh recently with my girl. Taken a bus there, didn't know Sri Maju's the only bus to Ipoh. I was thinking of taking Konsortium though because it's been my ONLY bus to commute between other states. Unfortunately, none of the Konsortium buses go to Ipoh. Fine with me, Sri Maju should be any good. As what my dear said when the last time she took the Sri Maju bus, the air-conditioner was very freezing cold. In a way it's good because I get to hug my dear all the time. It did happened anyway throughout the journey. Started the journey at 5 p.m and reached there around 7 something. Her dad picked us up from there and head straight to her house. The first time i stepped into her house, it really felt like home. The cozy feeling which only can be felt when you're at home. It really felt like I'm part of the family. Reached in time for dinner. My girl's mum cooked kurma chicken and some mixed vegetables. It was very good, i had a second round of rice. Could have gone for more rounds but decided not to get carried away. Wouldn't want to freak everyone out. After the dinner, went upstairs to freshen up a litte. Invaded the sister's "royal chamber". According to my dear, many people have failed the attempt to have the honour to sleep in the sister's royal chamber. I'm the first one who do so, which is somehow a mystery till now. Sorry, time is running out...will continue next time. The ordeal of meeting the folks and all.

TO BE CONTINUED..
