Top Ten 2006

My Best Top 10 Songs in the Year 2006

1. Rascal Flatts - What Hurts The Most (The best song of the year must be this!!! The most emotional song I've ever heard in the year 2006. No other songs can beat this song in the year 2006. Way to go Rascal Flatts!!!)

2. LeAnn Rimes - We're Running Out Of Time (Also another great emotional, sentimental song by LeAnn Rimes. Her voice seems to be getting better from time to time)

3. LeAnn Rimes - And It Feels Like (Way to go LeAnn Rimes!! Great vocals in this song! Keep on singing!)

4. Brian Litrell - In Christ Alone (Great song by Brian Littrell who is from the Backstreet Boys. His first CCM hit.)

5. Jordan Knight & Deborah Gibson - Say Goodbye (Another emotional ballad song... really love this song lots!)

6. Nick Lachey - I Can't Hate You Anymore (The lyrics are deep and full of feelings and emotions. Keep on writing songs Nick Lachey!!)

7. Chicago - King Of Might Have Been (Chicago's comeback hit in the year 2006. Though it did not enter any charts at all in the US, but it's still one of my favourite songs in the year 2006. Emotional, sentimental and heartfelt song. Great lyrics too!!)

8. Clay Aiken - A Thousand Days (Clay Aiken's great new love song!!! His voice seems to be getting better too!!)

9. Joel Engle - Shadow Of The Cross (Meaningful song about Christ's death on the cross)

10. North - Picture Of You (A love song which often put me into a very mellow mood.)

My Worst Top 10 Songs of the Year 2006

1. Paris Hilton - Stars A Blind (The most irritating song of the year!!! She can't sing!!!)

2. Nelly Furtado - Maneater (Horrible song!!)

3. Pussycat Dolls - Stickwitu (Generally... I don't really like PCD... and this song has been overplayed in the year 2006)

4. Shakira - Don't Bother (Her voice is so irritating!!)

5. Cassie - Me & U (I don't even know why this song is so popular. To me it's irritating!)

6. Justin Timberlake - My Love (Don't like this song at all!)

7. Sean Paul - Temperature (Nonsensical song!)

8. Panic! At the Disco - I Write Sins Not Tragedies (Noisy song)

9. Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Dani California (Arrggghh... never like their songs...)

10. Black Eyed Peas - My Humps (This is not talent!!)

My Holidays

Hi,

As some of you all know I'm currently on holiday :-) So far my holiday is all right. I went to Pulau Jerejak with my coursemates and went for my CF camp in Gombak for four days and 3 nights.

My trip to Pulau Jerejak on the 15th of November 2006 was pretty fun. My coursemates and I went for jungle trekking in Pulau Jerejak with the help of a tour guide there. Also, I cross the suspension bridge in Pulau Jerejak and it was quite an experience. Actually, it is quite scary actually crossing the suspension bridge. The bridge was so shaky and quite high above the river below. While walking I was so scared, wondering if the bridge will ever fall down. Well, actually I'm scared of heights... to tell you the truth. Well, in the end, or course, I managed to cross the bridge safely. Next was the flying fox. I tell you... this Flying Fox freaked me out. While holding on to the rope, I was like... holding on to dear life though I know I was wearing the safety belt and helmet. It was just scary. As the flying fox went down, my hands were like, slipping away from the rope and I was like so scared, what happens if I lose my grip? But of course, I went through all of that safely. When the flying fox reached the end, I swung like a pendulum. haha... but it was quite an experience. After that, we all headed to trek the jungle. Quite tiring, but nevertheless it was fun. oh yeah... I also managed to visit the hold jail in Pulau Jerejak. This was the jail where they put hardcore criminals into prison. The jail was made in such a way thay hardly any sunlight can penetrate into the cell. Hence, in the past, prisoners will not be able to see sunlight. Imagine living in such a cell. Terrible right? Also, in another decade, that prison was also a prison used to keep the lepers in the past. When we went there, the prison was already run down. After the jungle trekking, we rested for a while near the beach and chit-chatted and ate some snacks so that we would not be hungry. In the afternoon, we all tried the wall climbing. Again, yours truly, was so scared of heights and I only managed to climb half-way. After that, my hands were so tired and I am kind of nervous. Later in the evening, we all played volleyball at the beach. Overall, it was a nice trip to Pulau Jerejak. Especially enjoyed the jungle trekking, suspension bridge and flying fox (although I freaked out haha). It was quite an experience. Thanks Ranita and Min Teng for organizing this trip.

About my CF camp in Jungle Lodge, Gombak... well... the camp was a refreshing camp to me and I did learn quite a lot from the speaker. The workshops were great too especially Swee Kit's workshop. Really made me think a lot although I was sleepy during the workshop. Nevertheless, the message from her got through to me. She talked and explained about what a soul-mate is. A soulmate is someone who is your friend, who understands you, who emphatizes you and know you in and out. She told us that if we did not have one yet, she encouraged us to pray for one. Honestly speaking, I don't have one yet and I will continue to pray about it. Also, in the camp, we trekked the jungle there too! I was fun!. Going through the rivers withour shoes on (because the tour guide asked us not to take of our shoes). In addition to that, I was bitten by a leech while trekking the jungle. Thank God someone brought salt! The worst was my friend, who was bitten by a leech on her neck and she kinda freaked out! haha... Overall, enjoyed the camp in Gombak. It was fun.

Well, as for now, I'm having a mild flu, but I am getting better now. At the same time I am busy with PharmNight stuff. Really hope things will come out all right. That's all for now. Stay tuned to Ronz.FM for more updates :-)

Francis Cheah tagged me!!

Well, I was tagged by Francis Cheah a while ago...

My earliest memory:
My.... this is definitely a difficult question to answer, more difficult than my pharmacy exam questions!! Well, my earliest memory.. I guess it would be... Trying to sing the song 'Right Here Waiting' by Richard Marx when my father played that song on the piano...

At school:

Kindergarden - the most memorable memory in my kindergarden years was my 6th birthday celebration in my kindergarden D'Little Stars. I remember that I had a birthday cake and gave chocolate out to my kindergardenmates and sang lots of nursery rymes and kiddy songs together. Really miss those times...

Primary School?

Being punished by my form teacher in Standard One in front of the class for not doing my 'Writing Exercise' meticulously and neatly and instead I did horribly as if I was scribbling on my exercise book!! That was embarassing for me actually... hehe

My first relationship:
I am still single till this very day. I ain't got a girlfriend before!! However, God, the holy trinity, was my first relationship and our relationship lasted till this very day though there were a lot of ups and downs...

I wish I never had worn:
My dad's old clothes!!! Some were pretty old fashion!!

I wish I had:
Learned how to speak Mandarin, Hokkien and Cantonese. My Chinese is seriously horrible today!! I seriously am needing some sort of 'salvation' for my diability to speak Chinese well...

One more... taken an autograph from Phua Chu Kang when I met him behind my school, St. Xavier's Institution at Muntri Street... :-(

I wish I hadn't:
been so reserved in my secondary school years (Form 1 up to Form 5). I really did missed a lot of my friend had. Fortunately, wasn't that reserved in Form 6 and really had really great friends whom I still keep in touch with...

At home I cook:
Nowadays I don't really cook

When I was a child, I wanted to:
To be rich and have a big house and car someday... but now I'm a Christian, that does not matter anymore. Not to say that I don't want them but they ain't of utmost importance ini life now...

The book that changed my life is:
Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.

If only I would:
be more neat in my handwriting, nobody would ever again complain about my handwriting...

Friends say that I am:
Not open-minded, banana, smart, music maniac, conservative, quiet, serious...

What I don't find amusing is:
Malaysian comedy dramas besides Kopitiam.
