Yep, it was at the same place that i have been to the other time: $10/pax family ktv. The cheapest one, everyone paying 10 bucks, plus one bowl of fake sharks fin. I was being sabo to sing the 1st song. Aw....Dont you hate scandals? Yep, it was a duet singing Wu Ding. I dont really like this song, because it's quite difficult to sing. Bleh, why must sabo huh? There were quite a few oldies that we have sung, and there was Ken, ok his singing is not bad, but i would say it's old school style. No offence but he does sounded like ah pek singing....But at least there were mic snatching, in fact most of the time we were trying to pass the mic around to avoid singing.

The difference this time round was such that we didnt sing much of the common songs that people would sing when they go to KTV, some of the songs that we sung were quite unconventional, since we have to take care of those non-chinese too, we ended singing some disney songs. Opps. Hahs. And the good old westlife, BSB...yada yada.

Gruesome brain racking puzzles to solve too. Something this is a snake and this is not a snake. I still cant figure that out. ==.

Since most of the songs that we have sung are SLOW....the atmosphere was quite dead. But i would say, this is quite a nice bonding session, and we get to know more gossips. Dont really like it when they tried to squeeze some info out of my >.<. But it good when you are not a victim. Contradiction. Lol.

DAY 1:

As usual camp started out with waiting and more waiting at Boon Lay MRT station, early in the morning at 8.30am. which means that I was already awake at 6.30am, preparing to get out of the house at 7am. At this point of time I'm still very sleepy. As usual i worn the same outfit as i did for the last camp that i went to on the 1st day. Since i was quite lazy to pack and think of what clothes to wear, I just packed every CJ clothes that i could find plus my fav class tee. Surprisingly, not every packed like me, some brought their home clothes, turned out that i was almost the only one wearing school clothes throughout, except on the 1st day. Lol. As usual camp always kick off with ice breakers. Hm, i would say that this one is quite difficult to rmb, but it's better than the one which you have to put an adjective in front of your name then your name, even so, after a while, names just come naturally, though i still cant really get some, since the guys kind of look alike and there are a few that i hardly talk to, therefore i needed quite some time before i can rmb the names.

Then we have our share of brunch, then more ice breaker games. Then we toured around the school, which we are going. ok. this was is better than before since i actually got a real tour instead of just walking around the school aimlessly, just following like a sheep in the crowd. Though at this point of time im still not quite familar with the school yet, i have a rough idea about it. Oh yea, forgot to mentioned, i actually met a few people from my sec school and 2 are from my class previously. actually both dont really have much changes. Feelings are still neutral i guess. Ramona and i did say hi to each other. :)

If I didnt remember wrongly we have station games. BUt i dont really remember what did I do. ONe was using straws and we have to suck up the beans and pass it to the end, then using 50 beans that we have, we have to make our OG name. Hahs, that was choking, i think i ate quite a bit of flour on the way, in the process of sucking the beans that was in the flour. There was another one where we have to cross through a course with maffia strings attached to the pillars, something like a obstacle course, and we have to transport 2 lightest weight person one to carry the pouch and another just to cross the path. Aw... i was the 2nd lightest person, therefore i was being carried through the course. not really a good feeling i guess, since all the guys will be carrying you across, some would say i have yan fu, but, no, except maybe the part where i was just carried by one guy, with arms on me, then comes the obstacle course where i have to avoid the strings over my head, and i hit FT with my arms. Then we have the twisters game, where we will pick the colour box and the body parts that we have to place on the board, luckily my parts werent that difficult and the box that i have to place myself in are next to each other together with my knees and feet. nice one. but some were not that lucky they have to place they heads or butts then they have to stretch from one box to another. THat was fun. I think there were a few more but i cant rmb alr.

Ok. more waiting. Till night, there was suppose to be a candle fight. However, due to the poor weather, in the process with everyone getting drench, there wasn't any. i think it was a bliss in disguise, otherwise, we would sleep at around 4 to 5am in the morning =.=.

The hall that i slept in, was surprisingly the hall that i'll be going when school starts which is HALL 9. *CLAPS CLAPS*. Ok, it was better than the hall that i last stayed in and luckily that i didnt get that hall, otherwise i'll curse and swear like mad, since that hall was stuff and the only fans that they have are wall fan, as if it will help since it seems like it not blowing anything except the walls opposite. The only good thing i guess is the space. It's quite spacious where by both parties will be able to get privacy.

As usual, I can't sleep on the 1st day of camp. And it was relatively cold on the day itself. So yea, i dealed with it sleeping at around 2 plus. and woke up at around 5 going 6. And that's the day. Yay, and my OG got the most credits of today.

DAY 2:

It the POOL day today. Yea, as suggested it's the day where we will get wet. As we woke up early in the morning and got ready. Usually it's quite embarrassing since it will be the 1st time that i worn a swimsuit in front of many ppl which actually knows me, instead of the times where i went out with some friends to swim. In the process, yea, i also got to see other people. Some dressed horribly with Bikinis. =.=. Um. it's fine if you want to dress in bikinis, but you got to have the figure to wear it right? *Opps*.

There were 4 sections in the whole pool games. The 1st one is diving for clues.I was quite afraid that i wouldn't be able to swim well, since it has been quite a while since i last swam. but i guess it was alright. i screwed up at the part where we have to pick the paper that was thrown in the pool. i kept thinking that the paper is at the bottom of the pool, where in actually fact that it was floating on the surface of the water, which delayed quite a bit of time. In the end it's not the part whether you swim fast or not, it's the part where you have to solve the puzzle making a square using the pieces that we have got which was quite tough. So even though i kind of screwed up, it was ok, since we managed to solve the puzzle earlier than the other group.

The 2nd one was the gladiators, whereby there will be 2 pairs one from one of the groups and we will try to whack the other teams to the water. come to think of it it's not exactly about your size, it's about how you coordinate with you partner and the tactics to stay abroad. it was quite difficult, i think our team was kind of trashed, most of them went down the pool including me, it was over within a few seconds.

3rd one came the ferry. BUt before that we have to use our butts to spell the name of our camp out. Opps, and my OGL kept spelling the name wrong therefore we have to do a few times before we are done. I think the 1st couple who went was quite funny. There was a part where the female will have a stick on her hand, you can either use it to paddle or hit your opponent. So as it started out HL hitted the opponent. Then the opponent female(wearing bikini, not say v chio) turned aggressive and start hitting back. The funny part was the part where in the process of hitting she lost her balance and fell into the water. Everyone was laughing at that. Plus as mentioned if you fall of the float you the group will change, but she struggled to come up the float, which was quite unglam in the way that she got up, and we were laughing again. Lol. I think that was one memorable exp. Of course our team won. Since none of us dropped into the water. For me the scary part was the part where i was the last one to go. The guy was pushing the float quite roughly and i was trying quite hard to keep my balance. Luckily it ended when we reached the other side, instead of the the full round where we have to return to where we have started out.

Last but not least, the guessing game, where the 1st person will do the actions and the last person would have to guess what it is after many people have pass the msg down. It was harder since it was passed down underwater. Unfortunately, we didnt managed to guess any of them. It was too difficult.

To conclude the pool games, we have the main comms VS the freshies. It was quite funny when we saw some people push the people down, and gals vs guys, esp the big size ones. That was a sight.

Onward with the pool games we have our telematch. OUt of the 6 games that we have played, we only won 1. Opps that was pathetic.

There were the battleship game: quite fun, when you cant see you opponent and you will try to hit them according to what you captain told you, you can see near miss and it was a whoa if you managed to hit the person. It was quite difficult to hit as you will be facing in the opposite directions and you cant turn your feet, so in that case, your shots will not be straight sometimes. nevertheless, this was the only one that we have won, I think winning or losing is not that important, as long as we have fun, i think that's good enough.

2nd come the obstacle course: that was gruesome. 1st we have to pick the ping pong ball up, using the spoon that we have then we have to baby crawl through the path that was drawn out with the ping pong ball still in our mouth, after that we will have to use our feet to take the marble that was in the pail still with the ping pong ball in our mouth with the spoon. then we have to walk through the path with strings attached to the chairs, then we have to spin 10 rounds before coming back to the starting point, putting every ball that we have taken back. i guess, we lost because of the part where we have to pick the marble up using our feet, most of them have a hard time trying to pick the ball up. Those who were the 1st few to go was worse like me, since i have no support while picking up the marble, but it was ok, since i can balance. NO prob at all lol.

3rd came the stickman ball: this is the part where we will be sitting down, then we will given a max of 10 paper plates throughout the game, and with the balls we will have to try to score through the holes on opposite of the goal. It was violent, since hands will be knocking on to each other, and we have flying balls. Who says sitting down are not violent? we almost won, it was a close fights, with some bruise on the hands XD

4th came the something like dodgeball:There will be a circle drawn, and there will be 2 people from the opponent team in the circle and those 2 will have to catch the one in the circle who will be running around and they will be hopping. and there will be people on the outside trying to hit the person who is running so that he will be out. The failing point in my OG is the point that we always start at the same starting point therefore making it easy for the opponent to hit and catch.

5th is the game where we have a rows of chairs and we have to move ourselves forward collecting the water bombs on the way while we are standing on the chairs. It was quite cram and we have to made do with it. Guys and gals are staying alternately. NOt much stress, since chairs are always coming and we are just moving forward collecting the water bombs.

Lastly, was the game like captains ball except that we used water bombs and catching and intercepting we have to use our shirts. it was quite a bad game, since not many people will playing according to the rules. So i think this game ended off with a bad note.

If my memory serves my right, we have our night walk today, with everyone blindfolded, including the sp initiation night, and some activities on the way. ok, i guess the most memorable one was the slide and the fake sp interview that i have which i think i'll remember for quite  awhile. Well here is goes, where i was being brought to a place and sat down, and we started having the interview. Actually, i already have some idea that this one is going to be fake as the people are supposed to be recognise as nos. or alphabets, but in this case, i was recognised as a name. Plus the stuff that we have talked about was a bit weird. So speaking the truth that i like outdoor extreme sports like abseiling, he began to elaborate saying that he almost died doing it, at the same time did some somersaults and dropping to 15ft before stablising ==. In addition, he told me that books was his life. Hahs. Sheesh, ok, i guess it was quite fun, but i was half asleep. I think in this camp I'm known as the sleeping girl, because, most of the time i was in sleeping mode. *Opps*. The slide was fun, but i got stuck in the middle, so i have to kind of push myself down.

Overall the initiation night was quite, it wasnt as dirty as i thought it would be. THere's only some paint, water and stuff, nothing too dirty as compared to some of the camps that i have been to. But i might say that it's not like one of the camps that i have been to, as there were more guy gal interaction. I guess that's what make up uni camp? Actually, i wanted to go for the hall one. But my parents are strongly against it, since i have been to 2 camps alr. They always complain that i'm always dead when i come back from camps, which is quite true, since most of the time i would be dead tired and just drop. I guess they dont really understand that==. But look at it from another light, i'll have more rest., in the expense of knowing more people. Ok, opportunity cost!!! I remembered my Econs. Bleh.

Well, since I have a dental appointment at Outram, there's no way that I'll want to go all the way to DG to meet them, since they will be shopping before heading towards Chinatown. Therefore, I decided to meet them at the place instead.

Finally, no more reviews of retainers except for the regular check-ups which I have to go every 6 months, in the process if the retainers are loose, I'll have to ask them to tighten it for me. Apparently i have to wear the retainers for LIFE. Lol. ok, since i only wear them at night, i guess it's not much of a prob. Then my doc asked me whether i want to remove my wisdom teeth. o.0. minor surgery and 1 wk of swelling and pain, vs probability of cavity, hm, I have no idea what to choose. Then again, i might not remove it, as long as im careful, this should not be a big prob, right?

 After my dental check-up, Pei Qin called asking for a meet up, I was relatively surprised to the fact that i'll meet the guys directly in Chinatown, and i thought she would be meeting them, so yea, i met up with her, and ate lunch, and desert, a freaking $2.50 for a paste. o0. Expensive, just for a paste, on the way, we got lost due to the fact that there were 2 yam cha, and the KTV was near the KTV. But in the end we found the place.

The KTV was a family KTV, $10/pax, i would say it's quite reasonable, since there were free flow of drinks and 1 bowl of sharks fin(lol, i would rather say fake sharks fin). Thing is, there is no way we can go overtime, since the screen would just blackout when the time is up. Lol. No cheating allow.

Well, i could say that this group is made up of many oldies people. Lol. Plus fans of Jay Chou, BSB, oldies and May day. It seems quite weird that the other time when i went with llimace, the time seems to pass relatively fast, but on the other hand, over here, we were already quite tired in the middle of it. Apparently we are a polite group, in the sense that we do not snatch the mics, but took turns to sing, or otherwise, sing together, then again, even so, we are not really that high overall. not much bouncing of the sofa, and jumping, i think the only time that most were high when we sung lian ai ing. Hahs.

I guess, in order for KTV to be interesting and good, we have to be crazy. Lol

The 3 days just passed by like it was nothing. I would say normally, not that i would say that it's super memorable, i guess after a while, the memories would just kind of fade away slowly, it will not be as memorable as some of the camps that i have been to, where it's really the things that i have done, and the emotions that i have felt at that point in time that i will remember it for life, because it marks another turning point in my life, and my view towards people, things and myself.

However, in the process, i have make many valuable friends, i guess that's the most impt part besides trying to gain experience in the process of camp, but actually the people.

Those that I have attended during JC are mostly leisure camps and those that i have attended during Secondary school are training camps. Those memories. I do miss them, the bonds that were forged the friendships, the hardships, memories of tears, joy etc.

Though it's today, I still have this surreal feeling. I have no idea, why or what? Or perhaps it hasn't sink in yet. Therefore, till this Sunday, i wont be back, but stuck at the uni. Lol.

So much for the anticipation for the toy and comics convention, but if i break camp early, I might be able to make it, hopefully, that i wont be so shagged. Hahs.

Probably shouldnt ran so hard when i was playing captain's ball. Strange, when i played the 1st round, my hands were actually numb. o.0. I could basically feel the pins and needles, I dont really know what's happening. It's just numb. Perhaps, it's a sign of lack of exercise. Lol.

Well, our team still remains as 2nd despite a utter lost in captain's ball, i guess, it's the win in our basketball and amazing race that let us remain in one of the top placings.

At this moment, I'm still busy with the admin stuff before school, i wish that this process would end soon. So many stuff to do. LOl.

Currently, I'm participating in some networking sessions to know more poeple around in the unis, basically they are people who will be going to uni this year. Not bad. Just something to expect, when i get back to school. Dont know if im making a right choice or not. There's nothing much i can do, sides, it's just the month of June. No harm knowing more people i guess. But hopefully they dont burn a big hole in my pocket T.T.

Speaking of which, I'm still waiting for my pay. It's still not here yet, I have a feeling that it 'll only be sent to me around 25 Jun, because i sent in late, well, it's kind of lame to send once and after a few days send again, because my work just end around 2 days after the date that i have to submit ==.

I guess days seem to be longer than usual. Because i'm not really doing much at the moment. Well, I think i'll have to do an upgrade myself.

Overall, it's a good learning experience, a taste of how work is like. and im quite glad that i did more than admin work, though eventually it comes to that. Even so, in middle working in the cust svcs(helping out doing all the transfers in the sys and looking at the horrible pdts. seeing nos. after i'm done with it, stars were already appearing), warehouse(doing stock take, and yea, helping out== boring i might say), Legal( the most mundane one, because i was only doing photocopying and scanning). Lastly, the main department that I'm in. FINANCE :) Well, i learnt abit of accounting, like what they did and stuff. Using the excel, PRMS, keying in 'horrible' JVs(well i had fun after keying too many, like not looking at the screen, and hittig v fast at the keys, and seeing that you get everything correct, that's shen hahs.), packing the compactors, archiving the stuff, smelling the horrible dust.

BUt i think I'll miss talking with them, lunch breaks, where tea is kind of must after every meal. The jokes, when they keep calling my 'xiao mei' lol, the computer tech, Yh bullying me. hahs. =.=. Talking about stuff and experiences in life, complain about many things, or talking about the funny ways of different colleagues. The slacking times. Bleh.

OK JUST KEEP IN TOUCH. Well most importantly, communications with people so much older than you. Lol. Just goes to show that age is not a prob at all XD.
