i registered with mapname.com when i read 5.95$, oops, makes u wanna get all your domains there, but a situation came where none of my emails were being answered to.

when i wanted to get my domain out of there, i couldnt, why? i had privacy feature, and their online form to change the contact info does not wrk!

i wrote to them, got someone to fax them, even left them a message on their answering machine! man these people dont respond!

finally got help from ICANN[icann.org] and got my domain out of there after 2 gruleing months!

GoDaddy.com has its shortcomings, but trust me they have the best CC and thats all thats required, and you have peace if mind.

Invest at your own risk, as is these people are not actual registrars, they are resellers of publicdomainregistry.com and tucows.com, so better of going to them to get the same service, and better customer care
