Ever since I found out about 9SOULS in October 2003, I learned more that Caless, the vocal & dance school where Lead came from wasn't just a school you can put in your profile when you have debuted as some sort of reference or proof that you did some preparation for this debut. Caless is a fantastic school that can offer you really great and talented kids :D

Thanks to Santos-san, I was able to purchase the 9SOULS cd along with 2 Caless Kid's Choir cds. Omg I have been waiting for this for 2 years of my life... A year after October 2003, I never knew I will see 9SOULS again (I knew they were indies) as PARADISE GO!! GO!!, so I wanted the CD more. The cd has long been sold out at this online CD shop, and I dunno owning this was just a mirage then. Like by a long shot will I get to own this... lol. But I finally got the chance last month (THANK YOU CALESS lol), so like no matter what I must have this CD =_=;

... even if I had to purchase 2 other CDs that I don't really want lol.

Actually I liked all CDs in the end lol. The first Caless Kids' Choir cd, Imujin Kawa fascinated me so much cause it had Kiyomi, Natalie, Hagi, and Misaki in it :O :O Also a bunch of the then members of 9SOULS had major parts in this CD. And three BRIGHT members also had parts! Wow I love Caless lol.

^ I think you know who these girls are lol.

From the Caless Kids' Choir and 9SOULS cd, I think one can say that Caless focuses on hiphop and the sorts. I really like 9SOULS' songs cause they were mature and have great music and lyrics. Dang where is this 9SOULS now? ._. Imujin Kawa have really great songs too, and there was uniqueness with how they arranged the vocals lol. The lyrics sheet was really fun to follow xD

With Caless Kids' Choir Volume.2, a lot has changed. First of all, this was produced in 2005, compared to Volume 1 (2002) and 9SOULS (2003), the audio quality of the CD is much better lol. Secondly, I think Volume.2 carefully selected the students who recorded this CD. Every track presented really great vocals (mostly from DASH! and BRIGHT members tho), so I think for me, this CD is more powerful than Volume 1.

But of course, 9SOULS beats each CD! lol.

I do love the Parago now (altho not as much as before...), but still I think it was really much better when it was still 9SOULS. This CD is just brimming with talent and promise, I think it was such a waste. Well I think the talent and promise is none other than Rina Kawano, so LDH/Avex, it was a very stupid mistake to *let her go* or something. If they did let her go =_=;

I think at some point, I have become a Caless *otaku* as well rofl.

Caless boasts talents such as:
- HEADS
- Lead
- BOYSTYLE
- Ami Nakashima & Shizuka Nishida (dream)
- Buzy
- PARADISE GO!! GO!!
- HINOI TEAM
- DASH! (preparing for debut...)
- BRIGHT (preparing for debut...)

I've had the opportunity to see all groups perform, and they are all talented. No wonder I'm a Caless otaku rofl.

I think more people should be aware of Caless and start following the in-school groups that might be big in the future :D

HINOI TEAM January TV appearances :D

HINOI TEAM will appear in three music programs this month:

- Music Fighter on Jan 13
- Utawara HOT HIT 10 on Jan 15
- Utaban on Jan 26

We all know that they used to be regulars of Minna no terebi (now Utawara), but I guess they didn't become regulars for the new show. Anyways, seeing them again here would be great :D Their last appearance was on October.

Also, Asuka will be back in Utaban after two years! I wonder what they will talk about... :O I hope nobody will be there to ruin their appearance... XD Like how Inugami Circus Dan totally messed up her appearance back in 2004 lol. If you guys remember, Asuka's first TV appearance was also in Utaban so this will be great for sentimental fans like me lol.

I said appearance three times lol.

Kohaku! A fangirl's delight lol

I haven't posted thoughts about Kohaku yet? lol. I only watched some parts of Kohaku since we were having a party as well. When I had the time, I sneaked out and went to my room to watch Kohaku lol.

Anyways, this year Southern California's LA County was very fortunate again to have Kohaku aired on New Year's Eve. I'm not sure about the rest of Cali, but yay for us! lol. Last year it went on until midnight (while a Korean music awards show was aired in the other Asian channel... my Bi!! lol), but this year, Fujisankei aired it, so they started it early at 5:30 and ended at 10:30. It is mostly because they have scheduled programming at 10:30 (the last episode of Kiken na aneki). Even this week's Yoshitsune was aired at 4:30. Kohaku for me is a break from Girl's BOX and a time to get out of the box and start appreciating the songs I missed for this year. But it didn't do much since I was only able to watch parts of Kohaku @@; I will catch up with the ones I downloaded today :D

I totally forgot about Kohaku, so I was in the shower when it started lol. But I only missed 5 minutes worth of introduction and stuff. I'm still wondering why PECORI is in the Red team while Akiko Wada is in the White team rofl.

I heard from Misu that some AAA guys backdanced for Ami Suzuki's Delightful. I love this song so much lol, and I knew Nissy backdanced for the PV and perfs. I expected to see Nissy and Shuta only, so I was surprised when I saw Naoya right when Amigo started to sing! lol. And what's more was I could see his armpits xDD;; Quite funny lol. Anyways, I spotted Nissy then Shuta, and unexpectedly, I saw Mitsuhiro again!! Lol. Mitchan looks different as an Amigo dancer lol. (I came up with Mitchan just now because Mitsuhiro is too long to type!!) As for Shinjiro, I'm quite sad I wasn't able to see him in this performance!! I wonder why he wasn't included here T_T And it's quite bad because since there's no Shin, my eyes went to Shuta... Wow he looked really hot in his new haircut :D I think I have become a new Shuta fan lol.

I also just noticed that they were wearing the "scrolling" belts like what Amigo and her dancers wore in a-nation lol. In that red thing, it says "AMI SUZUKI DELIGHTFUL" or something. I thought it's quite cute and funny xD

Shortly after some songs, w-inds. finally appeared!! Two years ago, they opened for Kohaku and fell from the "sky" (lol) while they sang my favorite w-inds. song, Long Road. This year they wore pretty clothes *_* Like tiger's skin? or something lol. Anyways, Keita's vocals was so-so ^^; It sounds better in recording lol;; But still he was quite impressive :D Ryohei looks really hot as well :D I noticed him quite well here. Ryuichi, so-so I think lol. I dunno I wasn't attracted to Ryuichi yet again =_=; I'm only attracted to him when I see pics not during performances ^^; Anyways, I love the song Izayoi no tsuki. When I saw the promotional video, I fell in love with w-inds. again... lol. During the release of their album ageha, I was like ECK again lol. I didn't like their PV for ageha and the song itself (too slow), but the album itself was great :D I'm really like this with w-inds. It's like on-off fandom lol.

So just as the performance was about to end, the camera focused on Ryohei (whose eyes like looked over at Ryuichi's direction lol), then Ryuichi, and then Keita. At the end Keita, gave the best smile ever...

I totally melted in front of the TV screen =__=; I was like... O_O then *___* lol. Really he just stopped me on my tracks when he flashed that smile. Keita is a geisha! lol.

Also I was able to reunite with my past!!!

I am glad I was able to see Naotaro Moriyama perform :D I haven't really followed his career since his first album (didn't like it much), but it seems like he's back to releasing songs that are good to Thea's judgment cause I really liked the song he performed (Kazahana). I need to find where to download this lol. Well you see, I was a big big big big big Morinao fan in 2003. (Loved almost all his works, mostly Natsu no owari.) I called him Morinao and Ryohei Yamamoto "Yamaryo" lol. But since Morinao's music hasn't been really appealing to me, and Yamaryo has stopped releasing stuff (where are you... ;__; ), I couldn't help but look in the direction of other ~~hot guys lol~~ artists. But he looked hecka hot this year with his new hair. I always found him hot (lollll), but I'm glad he got rid of his old hair because he looked really bad in those lol. I also liked Ryoko Moriyama's performance where they were on the stage together :D

I enjoyed some performances by other people. The enka songs were ok, but I missed Kiyoshiiiii ;__; lol. I love Kiyoshi as well ^^;; The Gospellers were great :D They are so good. Seeing them reminded me of BRIGHT (used to be Kospellers lol) and I wonder when will they debut :D

Hmm, I really dislike Suki sugite baka mitai for some reason tho. (I may have mentioned this before lol.) It's just that "what the heck" kind of song rofl;; Ayaya's Ki ga tsukeba anata is pretty nice. Sorry but I always favor Ayaya lol. Planetarium was really nice :D It's quite disappointing Ai Otsuka didn't perform at the end or something like last year. And I was hoping she would sing SMILY, but I guess this is a formal event lol. m-flo loves Akiko Wada's HEY! was pretty ok. Akko-san is the bomb lol. I saw other people but ah I guess they didn't leave impression on me lol.

Oh I missed ENDLESS STORY!! But I was able to watch it later on thru Youtube.com. Thanks to that person who uploaded it. I love this song so much that I made a layout for Yuna Ito hahaha xD

Lastly, this year, I was greeted by three hot guys, namely Shuta of AAA, Keita of w-inds., and Naotaro Moriyama xD I think it is a good sign! lol. But not so good, since my Shinjiro fandom is currently wavering towards Shuta. Fangirls are really silly to worry about such things lol. Also Naoya's armpits!! LOL. Fangirls are also silly enough to talk about things like armpits and hairy legs xD

And also, I was able to review my Japanese grammar, vocabulary, and kanji! lol. Kohaku is always good practice to me.

Chikan otoko on DVD

I read about Chikan Otoko a few weeks ago. It's like Densha Otoko, but not the plot lol. Chikan Otoko was popularized on the internet. A guy posted his story in 2ch also. Anyways, one night while he was on his way home, he and a girl (played by Yu) were walking in a dark street. The street is popular for "chikan" or perverts lol. The girl tripped(?) and she fell down. The main character Kinta Tanaka helped her pick up her cellphone, but she mistook her for a pervert and screamed "chikan otoko!!!" lol. A police came and questioned him, but he was able to clear his name I think and prove that he's innocent. From then on, he became friends with this girl whom he called Kanchi in his BBS posts. He also got to meet her other friends. Basically, this is a love story of a guy and three girls(?). I think this will be an interesting movie, but I'm not sure if I can afford to buy the DVD. I will check auctions as well to save lol.

Also, I really like the music used in this movie :D If I had the money, I wish I can buy both singles lol;; This was the reason I got interested too. Nao's Fun Time is so upbeat, and the ballad by Rieko Kamimura is so nice ^^

Erie is half-Korean??

I am shocked with this news. I just saw this from Idolizing St Anna if you haven't heard...

Well it's like me having Chinese/Castillian blood as well. Altho comparing idols to my descent is kinda crappy lol. But hey, knowing your idol is half something after being a fan is kind of shocking don't you think? I dunno besides from shock I feel betrayed of some sort =_=;;

Thea is being stupid lol. I need to understand also that Erie not saying she's half Korean was to protect her career and herself. Also you can't help but applaud her for coming out because of that Japanese/Korean thing whatever.

Still you feel that doubt you know? When I look at Erie, it'll be like "omg she's half Korean!" after all these years... or something lol.

But well you can say that since Erie's half Japanese and Korean, she managed to reap from both races making the great person she is now. Beautiful, funny, smart, caring, and talented! (I feel like I'm claiming know Erie so well rofl.) Not a lot of people has a chance to be born with multiracial descent, so anybody who is is lucky to be heck unique from everybody else. I never thought of it that way o_o

Solan Happies -- Another girl group?

Misuzu posted at wflforums.org that Mio Tachibana, a current VISION FACTORY talent will debut with 3 other girls.

The unit will be like TACHIBANA Team (lol) because Mio is the center as I've read on the net. All members are models from low-teen fashion magazines. Samples of their debut song can be heard at Iromelo's mobile site where people can vote and pick the best version out of 4. The one voted as the best will be released on a CD.

A few questions can be raised also.

- Will VF pick them up?
Mio is under VF management and since she's the "center" of this group, there's a chance maybe. Also, VF likes creating those senior-junior relationships within their talents. They can be a "junior" of HINOI TEAM even if they are older than HINOI TEAM lol.

- Will they be under the avex label?
Lol not likely that avex will sign them up... Dunno I think avex are looking for those Caless-like talents to sign.

But these girls do have talent also...?
- Mio Tachibana is the younger sister of w-inds.' Keita Tachibana. w-inds. probably is the only group that can challenge Johnny's groups. A lot of wFL (w-inds., FLAME, Lead) fans are expecting a lot from Mio's debut, wondering if her voice is anything like her older brother. (She has already taken in his physical features lol.)
- Yuka Konan was also part of a 4-girl unit called Soul Tigers in 2001. They released 2 CDs.
- Nami Uehara... Well you know her right? lol. She's a Toshiba soloist. Dunno what she's doing here o___O;
- Miho Asada was a member of Pipo's Angels.

Actually, right there you have the fanbase lol. w-inds. fanbase is really big. If they advertise this group by saying "w-inds.' sister" or something, they might get attention prior their debut xD

- Will this be a one time unit?
I'm not sure if it's a one time unit. But if it isn't, if the group fails (how pessimistic lol), they might continue to release CDs for a year maybe lol. But with Mio in the lineup, they might change the "expected" fate of model-turned-singer groups.

Why does this concern this blog? lol. In the future, if VF doesn't pick them up, it might be a HINOI TEAM vs ソーランはっぴぃず. Remember, both groups have the low-teens as their target audience, and both groups are magazine models.

Or if VF does pick them up, maybe a HINOI TEAM, ソーランはっぴぃず kind of grouping. Like how w-inds., FLAME, Lead are :D That would be fun!! Another kind of "Girl's BOX" lol. However since I don't like Nami Uehara, bleh I dunno if I will support them lol.
