The papers were absolutely KILLER. At the last minute, I realized I read a book I didn't have to read. Yeah. I spent 3+ hours skimming a 300-page book for quotes to use in my AsAm Studies midterm paper. I wanted to cryyy after I realized that.

Whatever. I finished eeeeverything and then Alex came down to Irvine and we went to see New Moon. OH. MYY.

It.was.so.good.

But now, it's 4:16 AM, my head aches, I NEED sleep, and I have to wake up in about 5 hours to get ready to go to class.

I cannot wait to catch up on sleep this weekend.

I'm gonna go get some sleep before my 10:30 AM class.

It's kind of ridiculous how I stress and procrastinate so much...pretty much to the extent that I lose sleep over it because I worry and try to evaluate why certain things are happening when I SHOULD just be fast asleep. And I'm a Relax Your Mind and Body workshop facilitator?! Someone has to get her act together...hmm.

This quarter is coming to an end and I'm pretty excited about that. These classes weren't as amazing as I thought they'd be. Intro to Gangs is decent, International Sociology is pretty interesting, AIDS Fundamentals is difficult, and I dislike Intro to Asian American studies soo much. I have lost all interest in the subject. But whatever, at least I have my Relax Your Mind and Body workshop facilitator training class that I love so much. My co-facilitators are amazing and hopefully, I get the chance to present a workshop with every one of them.

Public Health Association and Campus Village Student Association meetings are now coinciding with each other. Veteran's Day messed up the flow of Wednesdays so now, I have to pick which of the two is more important. Yayy for dilemmas.

 Anyways...hope everyone's doing well!

And it's already Week 6. Holy crazzapples.

Trick-or-treating was EPIQQ. Yes, with multiple Q's. Laurel, Lorena, and I were embarassingly color-coordinated. I was a purple "forest creature" with fairy wings, Laurel was a fairy princess, and Lorena was a Mamegoma seal. Lorena was attacked with Silly String by four elementary school boys. The houses in Turtle Rock are freakin inteeense.

Brittany and Andy came over yesterday...morning. At like 2 AM. Well actually, 1 AM since Daylight Savings gave us an extra hour ;P I ended up making pancakes at 2 AM and then Laurel and Andy played a rousing game of Chess. Of course, we were all delirious as fsck. Laughing at everything...wondering why didn't just go to sleep already. Hahh.

Yesterday (day), Lorena and I went on a mega shopping adventure to Ikea, Party City, Target, Urban Outfitters and Tokyo Lifestyle to find stuff to decorate our apartment with. After a day of moving furniture, decorating, and cleaning, we turned in our photos to the "Coolest Room Contest" at 11:58 PM. The contest closed at 12 AM. Haha. WIN.

And I also kind of love the fact that midterms week is done and over with.

Helping out with the Campus Village Halloween Carnival was soo much fun.

I'm gonna be ultra boring this Friday night (right now). Gonna pass on an invitation to a party and just gonna sleep eeearly so I can make up for my past week of compromised sleep. Soo tired.

Kind of off topic (not that I actually had a legit topic to begin with anyway, hehe)... A couple of my best friends called me today. Love them. Miss them. Hope to see some them sometime soon.

After he played a few songs, I turned to my roommates and said "I want him to play Strawberry Avalanche!!"

And what song does he play next? Strawberry Avalanche! Followed by "Saltwater Room."

Aaand I just have to say it again: It was absolutely amazing. I am so glad my roommates love Owl City just as much as I do.

Raided the Target dollar section for some quality rando shizz. Eff yess.

Brittany and Andy were supposed to come over around midnight-1 AM ish to watch The Orphanage with us but they ended up coming around 2 AM. Fail-ish.

So yesterday--err, I guess techinically it was this morning--Andy took Brittany, Lorena and I on a drive to Lake Elsinore and back via the Ortega Highway. HOLY SHIZZ was that effed up. Going 80-90+ mph through speed limit 25-30 mph U-turns and S-curves. It was incredibly exciting, scary, and probably one of the most dangerous things I have ever experienced in my life. During the drive, we were either following or leading Nick (aka Motorcycle Man, haha) on his motorcycle.

That was probably THE WORST adventure I have EVER voluntarily decided to join in on. EVERY turn was a blind, it was FOGGY, we went at least 3 times the speed limit during the entre drive, and it was 3-effing-AM in the morning. We could have crashed and died. But we didn't!...so yeah. Let's just say it was a heart-pumping, [car]siick & extreme adventure that I will probably not join in on again if I'm ever offered the chance to go.

And might as well through today's happenings in this mini-update of an entry: drove to SD, got a haircut, went to church, ate tasty sushi, saw Inglorious Bastards at the Coronado naval base (I disliked the movie verry much...probably because I got a headache halfway through it :/ ), and then enjoyed gelato.

And on an unrelated note, I'm just going to sum up everything in my mind at moment: I love school & all my classes, I (unfortunately) have a ridiculous amount of homework/reading to catch up on, I need to stop depriving myself of sleep, and though I LOVE my roommates and all my Irvine friends/besties, I miss my other BFFs who are away at their respective colleges.

Okay. Sorry about all these jumbled thoughts. Kudos to anyone who actually reads this shizz. Sleep time. Goodnight.

And I'm pretty sure I just added a few sick days to this cold of mine. Spent a good chunk of time talking on the phone outside in the cold and then came inside and enjoyed ice cream. Hehe
