as of now, maybe there should just be a little bit of update....

recapping wat i did last year.... as much as i can remember, there's not much good.. wahaha...

• joined music forest as a student... however, soon i found out that i'm not as good as i think i should be also = no talent...
• passed basic course, however, intermediate course is more difficult to pass....
• tried to clear all my leave in AH.... however, in the end there is still 7 days unclaimed.... with many big hoo hahs with manager...
• while clearing leaves, did some locum work at RH... met choon kwang there and got to know who she is.... made some money from the locum job.... however, money disappeared as soon as it came, in the end feeling tired cos didnt have enough rest... didnt have time to do wat i'm suppose to clear in different aspects of my life....
• fell down just in time for an operation that is claimable from AH.... :p people keep saying i time zhun zhun one... haiz....
• finally after all major things passed, i changed my job.... i mean i changed location but my job is still the same...

so now i am already at this new place for the past 3 months plus (since sept)....  and i realised that there's so much that i still have to learn... there's always new researches going on and new things to add into my job.... for this new year, must make myself accomplish more things.... apart from having accident (choy!!).... will try to complete a poster with my ex class rep too....

this friday is singing exam for intermediate class.... hope everything goes fine.... *cross fingers*

and so we met at this restaurant.... it has a very nice ambience, the waiters and waitresses were nice and prompt... good... efficient... hehe...  a very good impression of this place.... its located at orchard parade hotel... quite high class and they even hav bar for evening to night life.... i think this should be a good chill out place.... anyway, here are the photos of wat we had... not much photos as i was too busy eating... forgetting all about documenting... hehe..... here's a list of wat we ordered....

i'm currently at a stage where i can do things... howeva i cant do it well.... dunno if anyone can understand mi but tt's how i feel.... call it PMS or wat....  e.g if u ask mi to sing i can sing the song howeva i think i dun sound good to my ears.....  :( this is just one example, howeva i feel like all the things in my life now is like that... i can do it... but its not at that standard.... i've done a lot, put in effort for it, but its not enough.... tt y product is not as good as it should be... hmmm..... i "need a break" howeva i've been having many breaks.... dunno wat i should do to give myself a "break"...

today is janice's ROM.... its good to see my best fren getting married.... howeva she will be the start of the trend.... soon one after another.... just like my dept.... this year alone there's 6 couples getting married....

apart from the bitter morning news, this morning there was an incident that i wanna mention... it makes my blood boil.... actually there are many things that make my blood boil... haha.... firstly its the roster... its so cock up.... sianz.... as long as that person is doing the roster, there will nvr be an end to the complains.... people tell mi since i'm leaving y should i get to aggitated??? but i'm like that i think its very unfair of the new roster.... but i'm not mentioning anymore things.... insider people will know who i'm complaining about....

anyway there was a case this morning.... its a brain case howeva that patient moved so much, we had to stop the case and send to patient back to the ward.... the request form was looking for further evaluation of calcification on CT scan images..... its not really classified as an urgent case, howeva, once we had the time slot, we quickly slotted in the inpatient to do.... so, after the patient moved so much, we tot at most the patient has to come back another time for the scan with sedation.... well.... that has been the protocol for unco-operative patients.... and so we sent the patient back to the ward.... and during lunch time, this female, slightly pretty, doctor came marching into the MRI scan room looked around to see whether there was any doctors, den started asking abotu her patient "upstairs" ward 11... (didnt know wat she was talking about initially as she didnt indicate who is her patient, from where did the patiennt come from.... i had to guess it myself) in the end i asked her is her patient from wd 11 b__.... den finally after a bit of hoo-haa, she said yup that's the patient....  finally i know which patient, den she started demanding a reason y we sent back her patient, saying they are prepared to come down to give patient sedation.... i had to explain to her, first of all:

• the patient didnt hav an I/V plug....
• den it wasn't indicated on the form that they wanted to give patient sedation,
• nobody from the ward or watsoeva informed us anything about sedation, how would we know???
• given the circumstances, we already slotted in her patient wen we had the time.... and it was during our lunch time that we did that patient.... we didnt even had lunch today.... and we had a whole list of outpatients waiting for the appointment time....
• how can we afford to wait for the doctors to come down to give sedation and wait for the sedation to take effect???? cost effectively, its wasting time and money.... she asked mi so can we do her case "later" i had to repeat myself telling her we hav a whole list of patients to do....

.

we hav protocols to follow.... that's the way of doing things around here.... and she mumbled something about y do we only follow protocols sacastically den left in a huff.... pushing our door hard, luckily it doesnt bang, and she purposely walked off with very heavy steps u can hear her footsteps its like those young children stomping off angrily.... all the while wen she was toking she was so not polite at all.... wen u are asking a favour, u should at least talk neutrally rite?? anyway our dr raymond came into the room half way while she was talking and after she walked off, he asked us who's that!! its like he cant believe that kind of attitude shown by that woman (SHIRLEY BANG)!!! must remember her and mark her down!!!

later on i complained to prof about that incident... den he said he's disappointed the these young HOs,MOs nowadays.... wat kind of attitude?? shouldnt HOs be more humble and polite?? cos they are the most junior among the heirachy, they should show more humbleness politeness so that people will help them.... this is one of the worst attitude to hav wen u are a junior.... hey SHIRLEY!!! beta listen to wat prof says.... cos he says if YOU continue to hav this attitude, YOU are gonna SUFFER terribly later on in your career... of cos he didnt specify its you, but he said if those guys shown such attitudes they will sure suffer....

enough of long paragraphs of complaining, here's some pictures taken during last weekend.... sat night after work, went out with hong and mervin.... hong say she nvr been to cafe delma, so we went there for a drink.... i can say its one of the most bboring place i've eva been to... the music sux.... and below is my drink... i ordered lychee martini.... and the drink sux too.... lousy mix..... :(

waiting at MOS burger in bugis.... sandra wanted to go haji lane.... so we met up before walking over.... think that say was the day we walked so much our legs could give way anytime....... haha....

this is one of the many shops in haji lane.... its very nicely decorated..... most of the shops at haji lane need to climb stairs..... the good stuffs are also upstairs.... hehe....

i just wanna update about things that i had done yesterday and today.... was saying, yesterday i met up with my JC frens and today was my poly frens.... and there's one common fren who's in both JC and poly.... and she's getting married next week!!! OMG time flies.... so tune in next week for the ROM shots!! :)

monday i went for my follow up eye check up with Dr Yip... and i asked the very important qns.... Can I wear contacts lens already??? and YES!!! i can... haha.... finally i can be vain pot again!!! yeah!!! after months of waiting....

i was at home the whole day reading up.... hmmm but of cos as night falls, i'm out.... haha... went to a wedding dinner of my cousin... its held at marina meritus orchard road.... there's just so many people at orchard.... omg.. we couldnt find parking lot at all... the whole place is full... the ushers directed us to park at orchard link, but its the same... full!!! in the end my brother parked opposite across the road... i think its behind heerens....

.

before that i had already arranged with yihong and gang to meet for dinner.... the wedding dinner was a last min thingy, as in someone last min den inform mi of the dinner.... so in the end i went to the wedding dinner halfway and left to join my colleagues....

overall its a nice place to be in.... surprisingly there wasnt many people around... hmmm... speculating that this is a relatively new place, tt's y there's not so many people around.... but this place has a very unique entrance door.... too bad i didnt get a picture of the door.... its a lift look alike door... and wen the door opens, u'll walk into a dark corridor.... its very interesting to walk through that corridor... as u walk, the floor will light up under ur foot steps... it feels so fantasy.... hehe...  if there's eva another chance, i shall take a picture of the place..... its a nice chill out place if there's not so many people....

and this is the trail.... metal pieces put together... its quite scarey for those people who are afraid of heights... one major advise for people who are afraid and still wanna walk the trail.... DUN LOOK DOWN.... dun look down through ur feet... cos u'll really break into cold sweat, legs will start feeling 'soft'...

oh... did i say, the trail is actually quite shaky....  wen people walk pass, u can actually feel it moving.... :p there are also certain parts of  the trail tat's totally dark.... no lights at all.... its quite an adventure....

tuesday 03-06-08:

movie night out.... we were going to watch "sex and the city".... its a nice gal show... haha... guess if guys see it they'll think its boring.... anywayz, here are some pics taken before going off to lido.... hungry galz busy eating and rushing for time...

each one of us choose an item to buy and share it amongst us.... and i choose FRUITS!!! wahaha... so healthy.... howeva, fruits are so so expensive.... one mango slice cost $3 i might as well buy from super market and cut it myself.... i ordered two honeydew slices, one watermelon, one mango and one 'li' (pear like fruit, but tastier), and it cost mi $7.50!!! so damn expensive man.... even my hosp canteen also selling so much cheaper.... each piece only cost 50cents.... wateva... i'm just trying to eat more healthily.... hehe... look at how fat i am!!! OMG....

i'm begining to detest myself... :p only such bad quality pictures can hide my flaws... haha.... a little....

supposedly CML farewell dinner at minds cafe..... howeva a few people last min cant turn up.... poor cml.. she's so sad..... BUT!!! its hard to be sad wen u are playing at minds... haha... so here we go playing many different games, screaming our heads off and getting injured by the finger nails... haha... i'm one of the culprits.... :p
