Vittoria Vetra or Sophie Neveu?

Angels and Demons...Da Vinci Code..both were written by Dan Brown...both have the Harvard symbologist, Robert Langdon. Langdon has his leading ladies in the two novels, Vittoria in Angels and Demons and Sophie, Da Vinci Code. now, which of the two will you pick for Langdon? Vittoria's pretty, Sophie's pretty and also a Holy Blooded! even though, i would still pick Vittoria.

it's a biased opinion, actually. i've read Angels and Demons first so i favor her most. i really think Vittoria would be Langdon's perfect partner. i also like her intelligence (though Sophie's a cryptologist, also bright) but she had been a lot more useful than Sophie had.

my question is also the same as Angels and Demons or The Da Vinci Code? because Vittoria Vetra's in Angels and Demons, of course i would choose A&D! say, it's The Da Vinci Code's prequel to Robert Langdon's adventures and really, A&D is a lot mooore exciting because of the murders of the 5 cardinals! also the ambigram! cool work! astig! they are brutally murdered and i like the twists

my headache's psychological again. it's not because of my sinusitis or lack of sleep. it's because i'm lonely again...my 3 cats were lost and i really think that they won't be back that's why i have this headache. i always treat them as humans and as a friend. so this incident made me serious of being a veterinarian. all of these animal abuses made me think that, "hey if i would be a vet..none of you won't be hurt again" sigh...poor animals...i wish that i was the one who was lost and not them...i would even trade my life for them.

i really think that this is my Personal Legend--to be a veterinarian..to help these helpless animals..one more thing..the world is full of sins! argh!!! i hate it! i really wanna die!!! i can't stand all these things!! you would think that i'm really crazy or whatever but won't humans recognize that the world is full of war and sins?! won't humans act to please God?

sigh....yesterday me and anna went to the bookstore--my home! lol there was a book ther called the book of answers all you have to do is ask a question, put your palm on the top cover and close your eyes for 10sec. i ask, "would i be a veterinarian?" then it answers "Definitely" and i also asked, "am i going to be the first honor?" it replied.."No Doubt"..cool

i've just finished reading The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks during our chemistry. it had taken me only 2 days to finish that book i borrowed for Alyssa.

anyway, it really made me cry. Allie and Noah's love story made me so emotional it even made me cry at school. when i finished the novel, i cried and Chux said,"uy umiiyak na sya o! sabi ko sayo maganda, 9 minutes nga akong umiyak diyan e". really..

i saw my prom gown last night.it was very pretty..that's all i can say. i'm quite depress right now cos i didn't bought The Da Vinci Code yesterday and i think it would be quite a week before i could buy that book cos i'm saving money to buy a bag for the prom..sigh..i really wanna read a book.

we received a circular, me, anna, vanessa, jenny and tutch regarding the HAET test. we were the only six in our batch, very few isn't it? it would be very boring though.

can trees evolve to insects?

this is the question that haunts me until now. this idea suddenly popped out of my mind when we were sanding the woods for our TLE project. i suddenly asked Vanessa, "Vans,naniniwala ka bang mag-e-evolve tong wood na 'to to an insect centuries from now?" she seemed startled.."Ano?!" then i said that it has a possibility since it is a living thing, it contains cells and therefore it's alive..it can evolve..maybe.. then she said,"yan ba ang effect nang pagbabasa?" sabi ko naman everything seemed possible when there is a little possibility. my classmates who heard this also laughed but i exclaimed that they shouldn't laugh cos there is a possibility that IT can evolve. but really, what if it became an insect or any crawling, flying or swimming organism a lot of centuries from now?!

anyway, on our elective, i entertained this idea again and ayon, the discussion continued. Vans also said that, "Ah..so ganun? kung ang puno magiging insekto, it means that ang baboy makakalipad?" we laughed. ^_^

i really regret introducing ambigram to my friends. the craze of making one really annoyed me. they were asking me,"OLive, gawan mo ko!" or "Wow! astig, turuan mo ko!" by the way Ambigram is something you write or maybe just a symbol w/ perfect symmetry. i learned this while reading Angels & Demons--the Illuminati uses this method. really, it is so awesome! you need to write a word not just write but design a lettering that when you turn it the other way around, it will be readable and also spelled the same way as you first wrote it. it's kinda hard, actually. i use the Gothic Style (like that of Angels & Demons), Vans uses itallic, and Jerry, i dunno..

ey i've finished Angels & Demons for only Four days!! it is a record for me cos i usually finish a 500+ pages of a book for a week and now, i've done it for only four days!!! sugoi isn't it?!! hehe..
my teacher asked me last monday, "Olive ilan na ung nababasa mong libro" i didn't replied of course..maybe it was really bothering them cos i read anything everytime there is a freetime. i'll buy The Da Vinci Code on thursday-a sequel to Robert Langdon's adventure ^_~

Crazy for Books!

waa..nakakainis feel ko di nako nagfo-focus sa studies kasi sobrang na-aadik na ko sa books!

kanina lang bumili na ko ng Angels and Demons kasi ang sakit na ng mata ko sa kakabasa sa Acrobat Reader...grabe! ang ganda! naka 100+ pages ako ngaun..and sobrang exciting ung novel ^_^

isa pang nakakainis tuwing nasa bookstore ako ang sarap ng feeling na napapaligiran ka ng mga books..gusto ko silang bilhin lahat!!!

isa pa, nung wednesday natapos ko ung The Alchemist tungkol naman un sa Personal Legend..maganda rin.konti lang naman ung pages, mga 150+ lang pero naka 3 days ako pano sa school ko lang binasa and tinapos ko lang sa house..dapat 1 day lang un lol... ^_~ kaya naman gusto kong magcollect ng mga works ni Paulo Coehlo kasi inspiring ung mga stories..pero magagawa ko lang un kung matapos ko ung 500+ pages ng Angels & Demons, makabili at matapos ang The Da Vinci Code at makabili at matapos din ang Deception Point lahat un kay Dan Brown ^_^ ay may gusto rin akong book, ung The Rule of Four..mukhang maganda rin e..

kaya nga ayokong pumupunta sa bookstores..hayy..tulad na lang nung nangyari nung monday..nagcommute kami nila Vanessa, Anna, Rachel at Paulo tapos syempre naginsist ako na pumunta ng National Bookstore. Inuna kong section, ano pa syempre ung controversial, Religion/Philosophy and syempre kami lang ni Vans ang mahilig sa books sa group..turo ako ng turo nga mga magagandang books. naghahanap kasi kami ng Holy Grail and Holy Blood isa pa ung maganda. nakita lang namin ung tungkol sa DeadSea Scrolls, Hiram Key, Civilizations Part I, Dark Sides of Catholicism and Why Harry Potter is against Christianity(something like that, hindi ko na natandaan ung title)..syempre tawa lang kami ung tungkol sa issue ng HP cos Harry Potter fans kami ^_^

anyway..ayos lang un cos books are worth buying for! grabe astig ang Angels & Demons!
